This is a pink oblong-winged katydid, a bush cricket that 

comes in green, pink, yellow and orange. It's long been 

thought green was the dominant colour for the species as 

it's more common, but recent breeding experiments have 

revealed that bright pink could be the most genetically 

dominant.
