When still young, the bleeding tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii) bleeds a thick juice through the pores in its cap. The juice is commonly red, but can also be light pink, yellow, orange or beige. As the fungus ages, it turns a far less interesting brown colour, and grows up to 10 cm high. And no, you can't eat it - it tastes horrible.
