Antares Launches Demo Flight to Space Station
NASA commercial space partner Orbital Sciences Corp. launched its Cygnus cargo spacecraft aboard its Antares rocket at 10:58 a.m. EDT Wednesday from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility. The Cygnus spacecraft is now traveling 17,500 mph in Earth's orbit to rendezvous with the International Space Station on Sunday, Sept. 22, for a demonstration resupply mission.
