Antares Launch Moves to Sept. 18

Orbital Sciences' Antares rocket and Cygnus spacecraft is now targeted to launch between 10:50 and 11:05 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport  at Wallops Island, Virginia. Managers postponed the launch at least 24 hours after a weather-delayed rollout and a technical issue discovered Friday. 

The demonstration flight to the International Space Station will deliver about 1,300 pounds of cargo, including food and clothing, to the Expedition 37 crew.
