bus
From the school bus to the No. 12 morning commuter, bus rides have almost always universally sucked. By this point in our jaded lives, we pretty much all assume that any 2-hour bus trip will register on the Pain-O-Meter somewhere between a root canal and Real Housewives marathon. Japanese bus company Willer Travel just done changed that.
The Star Fighter bus takes lucky passengers to Japan’s version of NASA in what can only be described as one of those giant sit-down arcade cabinets… that moves. The whole thing resembles a spaceship, especially on the inside, and the magic only continues when the lights go out and the roof glows like the solar system. Each traveler enjoys an anime-style video, then clamps onto the joystick on their arm rest which lets them play games on the seat-screens in front of them. Even Steelers fans will have to admit this bus is way cooler than Jerome Bettis ever was.
